Workshop Description:

One-Day Course
Learn the fascinating art of kiln formed bracelets and watches from the developer of this technique, Jayne Persico.  In this exciting hands-on course you will work with pre-fired materials and learn the fundamentals of designing, cutting, layering and firing to create bracelets and watches using Hot Box kilns. During the course you will create two beautiful bracelets and one stunning watchband as Jayne leads you through sizing and bracelet forming and introduces you to wiring techniques for complementing and finishing your designs.  

Two-Day Course
Explore the fascinating art of kiln formed bracelets and watches from the developer of this technique, Jayne Persico. In this hands-on comprehensive course you will learn the fundamentals of designing, cutting, layering and firing using Hot Box kilns. You will design and create all projects from beginning to end in this two-day workshop. Jayne will also lead you through sizing and bracelet forming and introduce you to wiring techniques for complementing and finishing your designs. The manipulation of glass forms, using bracelet molds and tools designed by Jayne, will be a particular focus. As a result you will create several beautiful bracelets and watchbands leaving with a thorough knowledge of forming bracelets in the kiln.
