Creating and fabricating cuff bracelets is a multistage kiln formed process with endless design possibilities! Bracelets can be fused, cast, embossed, embellished with tack fused elements, pattern bars or even twisted into a cane. Multiple firings allow you to easily shape beautiful glass into a cuff design. Using a stainless steel mandrel and graphite tongs, you can manipulate the bracelet when the glass becomes pliable in the kiln. This technique was developed by Jayne who designed the tools to support the process and also authored an instructional Kiln Formed Bracelets book.
