Workshop Description:

This informative session will focus on creating spectacular lighting fixtures by incorporating pre-cast components into larger projects. In this hands on workshop, you will learn how to design and fabricate various styles of lighting fixtures as well as creating deep drop lamps using “ The Self Center Slumper”.  Topics that will be covered will include working with reusable glass casting molds (preparation, care and filling), mixing colors of frit to create color gradation as well as custom colors and firing and annealing schedules.
